Published

on

Massive errors have hit League of Legends’ client, this afternoon. It appears that every region has difficulties patching and opening up the client, and they are presented with this warning:

“Something’s up with our servers and it’s preventing you from patching. We’re giving it another shot. In the meantime, you can check the status of our servers here.”

When you click the link, you are redirected to League of Legends’ official service status page, a page that helps you check the status of LOL’s servers across all regions.

Errors like this have happened a lot of times in the past, but an error of this caliber; which affects all regions, happens really rarely.

The information you get when you visit LOL’s status page is this:

Riot Chesties, has posted in the official League of Legends boards with more information about the problem, he said this:

“Hi Everyone –

You can check his post here.

This error has not yet been resolved, and will likely take a little more time for everything to get back on track. We will inform you about every new update in the meantime.
