PATCH ALERT vs [email protected] – What makes us different and who we are

I guess that pretty much every one of you knows of Surrender at 20, a dedicated League of Legends website that in my opinion, is the best news-informing website for LoL.

Lately, some people have told us that we don’t need to exist as a website as long as [email protected] is around, and I am writing this in order to inform those people about our differences and similarities.

So to start off, we are different in every aspect compared to [email protected], not only by content but also with things we post.

[email protected] is like a news website and we are more of like a blog. You see, [email protected] posts about EVERYTHING that’s coming to the League of Legends community, on the other hand, we only post about things that we think that are in the interest of our readers.

You can take a look at our posts and you can easily find out that the things we post are about important things only, so let’s take a look at our posts.

As you can see in this image, we have underlined the kind of posts that we post, and if you notice we only post about things that we think people want to know. We made a post about this season’s mid-season release date because we thought that people actually wanted to know when mid-season is coming on the rift.

It’s the same thing with the other articles too, scroll down and you can clearly see that our only interest is to inform people about the most important things that are coming up on League.

Different from [email protected], where EVERYTHING gets posted and covered, we chose to build our website this way, so it would be easier¬†for people to understand and to read about upcoming features. If they want a more in-depth story, they can go to [email protected] which will definitely provide correct and accurate information.

As regarding our relationship with [email protected], all I can say is that a big part of PA(PATCH ALERT) wouldn’t have existed without them. They fuel us with information. The PBE articles we make are from them because they are the best in that direction.

Now, most of our posts (if not all) are written by me. The only posts that we copy are those of PBE patches.

I can definitely say that I am proud of PATCH ALERT, and the things we have achieved by far. Every piece of information we provide is correct and I might have only missed the release dates of upcoming features only once or twice.

To sum up, we love [email protected], and there is no need for competition between us two, because if there was, then we are sure that [email protected] would have won because they are the kings of information :D.

Thank you guys for reading this, I hope that you have understood the things we talked about, and I am sorry if there was any vocabulary/grammar mistake made, cause I am just getting used to it (English isn’t my native language).
